Benoit Chattaway (born November 2nd, 1986) is a photographer based in Brussels.
French and English citizen, he grew up in France, the US, the UK and Belgium – where he has graduated with a degree of photography from INRACI in Brussels.
Attracted by a factual context he bases his essays on a narrative structure. Benoit explores themes relating to the physical environment and the social condition. He is now working on a project about the aftermath of the industrial revolution in western Europe. More specifically the work revolves around the wildlife regrown upon industrial ruin.
