Linda Rodenheber

Linda Rodenheber (Osnabrück, 1988) became interested in film and photography at school. She went to study Documentary Photography at the art academy AKV St. Joost in Breda, the Netherlands.
In her work she tries to get to know other manners and thoughts about life within a new environment. It gives her the opportunity to build up relations based on mutual respect and interest.
The connection people have with their environment originates from emotions they experience within that. By becoming part of the other’s society, Linda tries to understand it and to find her own position within it – to see the world though different eyes. By combining photography with other media she tries to transfer this experience through her work, to let other people learn the same things.
