Tytus Szabelski

Tytus Szabelski – born in 1991, graduated journalism and social communication on Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland, currently finishing his master’s degree studies on Art University in Poznań. His photographs were published in local and national press, worked with Center of Contemporary Art in Toruń, Miłość Gallery in Toruń and Krytyka Polityczna magazine (Political Critique). Author of individual exhibitions and participant of group shows. Awarded with scholarship of the city of Toruń in culture (2012) and finalist of Festival of Photography by the Young in Jarosław, Poland (2012). Apart from his personal project he is focused on architecture photography, especially of post-war modern architecture. Editor-in-chief of an online magazine dedicated to contemporary photography Magenta (www.magentamag.com), also published in SZUM magazine, polish quarterly about contemporary art.
